Javier Bardem in Talks for 'Despicable Me 2'

THR reports that Javier Bardem is in talks to lend his voice to the animated sequel Despicable Me 2. The No Country for Old Men star will play a new villain, Macho, in the follow-up to the Universal/Illumination 2010 hit, which starred Steve Carell as a scheming supervillain whose re-discovers his humanity when three adorable orphan girls arrive in his life. It's Bardem's first role in an animated film. Despicable Me 2 is currently slated for a July 3, 2013, release. Source: The Hollywood
